Composed of 50 College Students, the Group Will Serve as an Honorary Ambassador and Support India, the Matching Country of the City

Ulsan Metropolitan City held a ceremony commemorating the launch of the Ulsan Supporters Group for the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Games at 10:30 AM January 31 on the 4th floor of the Traditional Market Support Center.
This Launch Ceremony was held in the order of appointment letter awards, the address by Ulsan Mayor Kim Gi-hyeon, resolution reading, a group cheering ceremony, and commemorative photographs.
The supporter group consists of a total of 50 members of Ulsan's College Student Volunteer Group who have performed excellent services. During the Olympic Games, they will welcome and send off the athletes from India, which is the matching country of Ulsan, as well as cheer for them at their games and participate in the Ulsan City Day event to be held at the Pyeongchang Festival Park on February 12 to encourage and support the athletes.
In addition, the supporters will also promote Ulsan Metropolitan City inside and outside of the stadiums during the Olympic Games.
Particularly, on the Ulsan City Day the celebrity supporter group White Tigers (led by comedian Jung Chan-woo) will also participate in the event and give their performance for the successful opening of the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Games.
The success of the Olympic Games depends on the passionate participation of spectators, so the role of these supporters is just that important.
The Ulsan Supporters Group is expected to promote Ulsan to the world as the face of the city, contributing to the success of the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Games.
