1. Opening of Export Fair

Hold an export fair in Ulsan and invite global buyers with high purchasing power to promote the exports of small- and medium-sized local enterprises through face-to-face business meetings with the buyers.

  • Target: Small- and medium-sized enterprises registered in the jurisdiction of Ulsan
  • Travel expenses of buyers (including airfare and accommodation), rental fee of meeting spaces, and interpretation costs
    ※ In the case of an on-line consultation, cost of video conference system and rental fee of meeting spaces
  • Intensive support for pre- and post- marketing activities

2. Individual Buyer Meeting

Support for expenses in relation to the invitation of and meeting with buyers from foreign companies.

Description
  • Capacity: Up to 25 companies
  • Target: Small- and medium-sized enterprises registered in the jurisdiction of Ulsan
  • Subsidy: Portion of the costs including accommodations, meals, and vehicle rental of individual buyers
  • Subsidy Limit: Maximum of KRW 3 million per company (Multiple instances are permissible within the subsidy limit)
  • Application Period: Throughout the year

3. Dispatch of Trade Mission to Overseas Countries

Send a trade mission to a hub-city upon request of small- and medium-sized enterprises to exploit new markets

Description
  • Capacity: 13 times for 110 companies
  • Target: Small- and medium-sized enterprises registered in the jurisdiction of Ulsan
  • Subsidy: Pre-market research expenses, liaison work for global buyers, one-way airfare, and interpretation costs
    ※ Based on open recruitment, companies will be selected according to the evaluation of the marketability of their products and the possibility of being paired with foreign buyers

4. Support for Participation in Domestic and Overseas Exhibitions

Support for participation of small- and medium-sized enterprises in representative exhibitions held domestically and in foreign countries to improve their marketing performance and cultivate new markets

Description
  • Application Period/Capacity: Throughout the year/ 117 companies (37 groups and 80 individuals)
  • Target: Small- and medium-sized enterprises registered in the jurisdiction of Ulsan
  • Subsidy:
    - (Overseas Countries) Booth rental fee, transportation costs and interpretation costs
  • Subsidy Limit: Maximum of KRW 10 million for foreign exhibitions and KRW 3 million for domestic exhibitions

5. Overseas Offices of Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises

Enables small- and medium-sized enterprises that cannot establish an overseas branch office to utilize KOTRA Overseas Offices for market research, finding of potential buyers, and contract management

Description
  • Capacity: Up to 25 companies
  • Target: Small- and medium-sized manufacturers or exporters registered in the jurisdiction of Ulsan with its residence or factories
  • Subsidy Amount: 80% of all expenses
  • Coverage
    • Up to two booths per company based on a fiscal year
    • 50% of the expenses for the second booth
  • Application Period: Throughout the year
