The exhibition 1 child and 1,000 adults, which began with the question ‘Who are children?’, aims to provide an opportunity to awaken the existence and value of children with infinite possibilities. The imaginary world created by the collaboration of artist Park Ju-ae and architect Choi Rak-joon stimulates the imagination and curiosity of children and adults. Here, the space where the participation of the audience becomes a part of the work naturally induces unplanned actions and free thoughts, providing an opportunity to communicate and empathize with each other. "It is enough for children to experience freely like a beautiful bird. They will interpret my world anew in their own language." - Artist Park Ju-ae - One child, a pure personality who sees objects as they are and shares their thoughts without hesitation, faces the gazes and attitudes of 'thousands' adults, and goes through numerous trials and errors and leads an independent and creative life. Through this exhibition, the Ulsan Art Museum hopes to create a world where all children are respected and can grow in various ways without discrimination.
