"Rest Assured, Our Eggs are Safe to Eat!”
- Locally produced and grocery chain eggs get passing grade Ulsan Institute of Health & Environment revealed that locally produced eggs are safe to eat after passing agricultural and livestock safety tests. All 223 randomly selected regionally produced eggs from Ulsan were tested for foreign substances, discoloration, external damages, salmonella, and pesticides, and received a passing grade for grocery chain distribution. A representative from Ulsan Institute of Health & Environment commented, “We are making detailed efforts to test and examine eggs for public consumption. We will continue to work hard to spread food safety awareness to livestock farmers of Ulsan.”
