Ulsan Issues Quality Certificate for Local Products Applying Ulsan Colors

- Quality certificate issued to enterprises developing products applying Ulsan's colors
- Expected to create Ulsan's exclusive urban color palette

 Ulsan announced that it has issued quality certificates to enterprises that developed products applying Ulsan's colors as part of the Ulsan Color Quality Certification System.
Certificates were issued to a total of five products by three enterprises after review by the Korea Color Design Institute.
Certified products include “10 colors of Ulsan's representative images” of Purunsol 1 Exterior by Kangnam Jevisco (CEOs Hwang Ik-Jun & Kim Jae-Hyun) and “Ulsan's 58 colors (including 10 Ulsan's representative images)” of Aisaenggak Series Soluble Exterior 1 by Samhwa Paints (CEOs Ryu Gi-bung & Bae Maeng-dal).
Also certified were “Ulsan's 58 colors (incl. 10 Ulsan's representative images) of Supro KS 1 Exterior, “10 colors of Ulsan's representative images” of Sensethane, and “10 colors of Ulsan's representative images” of Supro All In One by KCC (CEOs Chung Mong-jin & Chung Jae-hoon).
Last August, Ulsan also issued the quality certificate for Ulsan's colors to “Ulsan's 58 colors (incl. 10 colors of Ulsan’s representative images) of Q Fit Soluble Exterior KSM 6010 by Noroo Paint (CEO Cho Sung-kug) for a total of 6 products and 204 colors by 4 enterprises certified for Ulsan's colors to date.

An Ulsan official said, “Ulsan citizens will be able to enjoy Ulsan's 58 colors all the more as certified enterprises and products increase via the Ulsan Color Quality Certification System. We anticipate voluntary cooperation from the private sector and the creation of a distinctive urban color palette unique to Ulsan in order to fulfill our goal of creating a color for each region.”
The Ulsan Color Quality Certification System has been in place since last May, issuing the Ulsan Color Quality Certificate upon review when an enterprise develops a product to which Ulsan's color palette has been applied.
When product samples are received, a professional color agency inspects them for mechanical and visual colorimetry, and a certificate is issued if the standards are met.
Certified products will be given preference when promoting projects such as deliberations and public facility development promoted by Ulsan.
