- Ulsan library won "Excellence" award, and three other divisions including fire administrative division won "Outstanding" awards Ulsan announced the Ulsan library’s winning of the "Excellence" award at the 2022 Administrative Services Customer Satisfaction Survey. This survey questioned three categories: the scale of kindness in answering phone calls (1,000 respondents), the scale of kindness for in-person services (68 divisions), the scale of satisfaction in completing civil service requests (300 citizens). The survey was conducted from Jun. to Nov. by an external survey company. The results showed 92.6 points for overall satisfaction (scale of kindness in answering phone calls: 94.2, scale of kindness for in-person services: 91.1, scale of satisfaction in completing civil service requests 92.5). Respondents answered that most of the employees listened carefully, speaking in respectful and kind tones. However, the survey showed the emphasis on closing phone calls with closing greetings along with more willingness to actively respond to in-person services. Ulsan designated fire administration division, local autonomy administration division, and future new industry division as outstanding divisions and awarded Ulsan Library as the best division according to the survey results. For such, rewards (Onnuri gift certificates) were given accordingly. In addition, 67 outstanding individuals were selected and given KRW 50,000 worth of Ulsan Pay to vitalize the local community. An Ulsan official said, “We will continue our efforts to improve our administrative services by giving kindness trainings in lacking areas and by rewarding outstanding divisions and employees for better services.”
