아버지가 돌아가신 후 새엄마 미경과 어색한 관계로 살아가고 있는 선우. 어느 날, 오래전 소식이 끊긴 친엄마 정희가 그들을 찾아온다. 정희는 선우에게 시 쓰는 법을 가르쳐 달라고 부탁 하지만 선우는 이를 거절한다. 설상가상으로 자신이 근무하는 학원 수강생 은수에게 실수까지 저질러버린 날, 선우는 두 엄마 로부터 뜻밖의 말들을 듣게 된다.
