2020 Local Autonomous Social Services Investment Project

Ulsan selected as an excellent institute in the category of quality social service job creation

Recognized for its effort to create stable jobs

Ulsan announced that it was selected as an excellent institute in the category of quality social service job creation during the 2020 Local Autonomous Social Services Investment Project performance evaluation conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

As a result of this, Ulsan will be awarded with a certificate of commendation by the minister of health and welfare, and receive incentives for the next year’s budget.

The Local Autonomous Social Services Investment Project refers to a project that local governments directly develop and provide services considering the services supplied and demanded by local residents. It consists of community investment projects, maternal and newborn health care support projects, domestic health assistance support projects, etc.

Performance evaluation has been conducted to add greater responsibility in regard to municipal/provincial project operations and drive change that is noticeable to the social service users by strengthening performance management.

In this evaluation, Ulsan received recognition for its efforts to expand the social service market and provide stable jobs.

An official from the Ulsan Metropolitan Government commented, “We will continue to provide social services until the local residents notice a bigger change by taking greater responsibility and strengthening capability for the local autonomous social services investment project.”  End.
