An invite to Ulsan, a city of dreams filled with fun and awe

Ulsan performs advance visit survey by inviting travel industry personnel

Prospects of new tourism products with accommodations

The Ulsan Metropolitan Government announced this year’s first advance visit tour (familiarization tour) from Mar. 8 to Mar. 9 by inviting 70 individuals from the Seoul and capital area travel industries.

This event follows the “2024 Ulsan Tourism Policy Briefing,” which ended successfully in February in Seoul; the tour was hosted by receiving applications at the policy briefing site for inbound travel agencies with domestic and foreign tourists visiting Ulsan for the first time, the Korea Tourism Organization, and journalists specializing in travel.

Major visit sites include the Whale Culture Town in Jangsaengpo, the national garden in Taehwagang River, Daewangam Park, Seuldo Island, Ulsan Daegyo Bridge Observatory, Earthenware Village in Oegosan, and Trevier.

As most of the tour’s participants were visiting Ulsan for the first time, the city planned to focus on including the leading tourist attractions and specialties in the schedule to induce the development of new tour products with accommodations.

A city official said, “We hope for the launch of many innovative and new Ulsan tourism products after this advance visit tour (familiarization tour),” adding, “We will spare no effort for support and promotion for attracting tourists from outside the city to make them feel the diverse charms of Ulsan.”
